ジョセフ・リーダー はベントー・ブックスの設立者の一人で、2003年からビデオゲームや小説などの日本の作品を翻訳。日本のスクエア・エニックスの東京オフィスで５年余り勤務した後、アメリカに帰国。現在はカジヤ・プロダクションの副社長として多くの翻訳に携わる。テキサス州在住。
